Art Recognition

The artwork highlighted on the Homeless Youth Handbook Maine is the work of a local Maine artist, Kira Josephson. This original work was licensed for purposes of the Homeless Youth Handbook Maine website and posters. The artist shared:

This piece is inspired primarily by Maine's nature, and my process for this piece was largely intuitive, pairing colors and textures together through collage. In this work, the mountains, oceans, and forests of Maine are reflected in the greens and blues and in the texture of the leaves and rocks.
